Fancy myself at coding and web design - but wading through treacle with Drupal - so simple starter question.
Using Zen STARTERKIT I get a small bunch of files for my new theme but notice that the Zen theme has loads more!!
Quote from Birth of a Drupal User blog>>Using page.tpl.php from the Zen theme created a much more powerful page<<
Quote from the Zen theme homepage here>>This theme has LOTs of documentation in the form of code comments for both the PHP (template.php) and HTML (page.tpl.php, node.tpl.php).<<
But my new STARTERKIT theme just doesn't have any of those files except template.
Is there any reason NOT to copy all these other files over to my subtheme folder?
Then I can amend them in my subtheme folder IF I wish?
If I've understood correctly my subtheme folder looks to itself for instructions (CSS etc), then looks to Zen folder if there aren't any, then looks into the mire of Drupal if necessary?
