Include theme option to hide the browser chrome with javascript

Its pretty easy to hide the browser chrome with javascript for mobiles devices. This increase the amount of the web page thats visible and with current trends for responsive and mobile optimised design this area should be given attention. Ive used the code below for a number of sites. I propose that this (or similar) code be part of the theme and enableable in the theme settings.

Im not 100% what the width that its applied to should be (or if it even needs to have this width query) but maybe this exactly value could be configurable?

	jQuery(document).ready(function () {

		if (	jQuery('body').width() < 500	) {
			// Hide browser chrome for mobiles
			window.scrollTo(0,1);
		}

	});
