echoz commentedZen 7.x.5.x is responsive. That is the default layout for a viewport width between 480px and 959px.
Comment #4
bolesoft commentedThank you. But iPad has screen resolution 1024x768 pixels. So it should not be a problem.

echoz commentedMy default install of 7.x-5.x-dev changes to that layout at 960px, and looking at responsive-sidebars.css in 7.x-5.1 shows the same layout at that breakpoint also.

bolesoft commentedEchoez, my apologies, but I am not sure what exactly are you saying. My resolution 1024px.
Also I noticed:
@media (min-width: 960px)
.two-sidebars .region-sidebar-second {
float: left;
width: 20%;
margin-left: 80%;
margin-right: -100%;
Should not it be:
media="all"
@media (min-width: 960px)
.two-sidebars .region-sidebar-second {
float: left;
width: 20%;
margin-left: 80%;
margin-right: -100%;
}

echoz commentedI can't reproduce your issue. I could possibly help more with a link.

bolesoft commentedOk. Thank you. You need to use iPad to reproduce. I know it is weird. Thanks anyway.

sclsweb commentedI was able to reproduce this issue on an iPad 2. In landscape orientation it treats the width like 768px, not 1024px, as far as media query responsiveness. For anyone else fighting with this issue (hi future self!), a possible resolution is to modify the last media query in the subtheme's responsive.css like:
@media all and (min-width: 960px),
(min-device-width: 768px) and (max-device-width: 1024px) and (orientation: landscape) {
/* Lots of other stuff omitted */
/* Span 1 column, starting in 5th column from left. */
.two-sidebars .region-sidebar-second {
float: left;
width: 25%;
margin-left: 75%;
margin-right: -100%;
clear:none;
}
I'd be interested to know if this approach works OK with other devices too -- my testing was limited.
