This module allows a Drupal duration field on a oEmbed video media entity to be filled by querying the Youtube API.
The duration of a Youtube video cannot be accessed via oEmbed. This is where this module comes in and provides duration by querying the Youtube API. The module relies on a Drupal duration field for storing the duration information and a Youtube/Google API key is needed to query the Youtube API.
Installation
- install the module as usual
- Add a duration field to your oEmbed media entity
- Configure your oEmbed media entity to use this duration field to store the duration information (you will also need to put Youtube/Google API key in)
