When you enter a new search term in the search box, previous selected facets are not kept (Feb-04 distribution).
Does Drupal Toolkit have the same function as Endeca?
We want both functions as below:

・choose whether each selected facet is kept or not in a successive search
・entirely-new search in a search result screen

Hi Yuriko,

The current codebase lacks this feature. We have planed it, but haven't got it on the timeline. How important this feature for you? It is a must have, you want it in the very first beta release, or you estimate other features as more important?

Dear Yuriko,

Yesterday night I have commited a very important change. You can decide whether the search page contain prepopulated facets, when there is no query. It means, that wehn you set it to true, the page will display facets relevant to the whole collection even is the user did not entered a query. So it is possible to start navigating the site from the beginning. This feature available in the CVS, but will be in the next alpha release (comming soon).

I have attached two screenshots.
