Hello,

I was trying to publish content when this error appeared:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _actions_get_hook_aids() in /home2/thesteth/public_html/home/modules/workflow/workflow.module on line 828

In the Forums someone had a similar problem with flag.module on line 823, which was fixed by updating the Actions module.
In my case, the Actions module is at the latest version for Drupal 5.

How do I fix this?
In the interim, is it wise to downgrade back to the former version of workflow and actions.. to keep the site working?

Many Thanks

I'm getting the same error on Drupal 5.9 with Actions 5.x-1.0 and Workflow 5.x-2.3. Help would be great :)

Thanks,

Isaac

From the workflow project page:

"workflow 5.x-2.x requires actions 5.x-2.x"

@jvandyk:

Are we looking at the same page? The link you posted leads to this:

The 5.x version of workflow module does not require, but is much more useful with, the actions.module and the triggerunlock.module.

I get the same error. I don't want to install a new module if I don't have to.

The link also leads to:

workflow 5.x-2.x works with actions 5.x-2.x (Drupal-6-style-actions)
workflow 5.x-1.x works with actions 5.x-1.x (old-style Drupal actions)

I'm not sure how I can be any clearer. You can't use workflow 5.x-2.x with actions 5.x-1.x.

I figured it out. The issue is that the new version is incompatible with the older actions module... not that actions is a requirement. Thank you for taking the time to help!

I am using Workflow 5.x-2.3 and Actions 5.x-2.5 and I am getting these errors:

* Unable to find action of name states_generate_events. Perhaps the according modules has been deactivated.
* warning: array_keys() [function.array-keys]: The first argument should be an array in /var/www/html/dev/aaapsPacific/modules/workflow_ng/workflow_ng/workflow_ng.module on line 503.

* warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/html/dev/aaapsPacific/modules/workflow_ng/workflow_ng/workflow_ng.module on line 507.

Please help.

Thanks,

Sarah

Sarah, it looks like your error is coming from workflow-ng, not workflow. They are different modules. Also, this is a closed issue about the compatibility of the workflow and actions module versions. Please open a new issue (under the workflow-ng project).
