I have several nodes (profile pages) I've published with my account, that I would like to assign ownership to the users they're referring to.
I've tried changing the 'Authored by' field to a different user, and while that does change ownership over the node, it doesn't show up under that user's Workbench. They would have to edit the node from either the actual node path, or from the content overview page, and save changes before it actually shows up under their Workbench.
Outside of starting from scratch, is there any way for me to transfer ownership of a node to a different user, and have that user's Workbench reflect the change?

Gastonia CreditAttribution: Gastonia commentedI am having this issue as well. @delajed, did you resolve it? I am currently experimenting with the views configuration as it feels like a views issue.
Either way though, I too thought this is a bug. Should giving ownership to a new user not allow him to see that content in his or her workbench? We want to assign content via this workflow.
If it's not a bug, and there is a better direction, can someone elaborate on that?

Gastonia CreditAttribution: Gastonia commentedSince this is not working as expecting, marking as a bug report and setting to major as without this workflow, no content can be assigned to specific editors.
However, if my assessment is incorrect, please elaborate on the correct way to get this functioning. Thanks

Gastonia CreditAttribution: Gastonia commentedThrough some help on drupal.se, I've been able to configure the views correctly for this to work as I need:
