I was working on a module for D7 that "widgets" would be an ideal name for. I noticed the current widgets module is abandoned. If you are not planning on using this name space in the future would you mind if I took it over?

I am not exactly sure myself. For now, if you could make me a maintainer on the project with full permissions and I can commit my code and edit the description. As far as changing ownership of the project, I think that is something a d.o. webmaster has to do.
