I was going to use this module in a project, but decided against it in the end. However, I'd started cleaning up the module, and I've attached the present progress to this issue. Please do with it as you will.

I pretty much stick to standard drupal style conventions AFAIK. There are no deviations from that convention that I'm aware of (though I'm sure there are some).
