I have added a Drupal Showcase at http://drupal.org/node/905766
I would like to add the following attached images to the showcase post. It appears that attachments are not allowed for forum posts.

chavan commentedThis may involve changing the input format for http://drupal.org/node/905766
(The HTML for the images is already in the showcase post with the correct paths pointing to the images I have attached to this issue.)
Thanks!

avpadernoAren't the images a little too big? I am not sure where it's reported, but I think the images used in a showcase should have a predefined size (or at least it's what is done for showcases promoted in the front page).
avpadernoThis is a duplicate of #905816: Promote USC Annenberg Social News Case Study to Front Page.
As the showcase has been proposed as candidate for front page promotion, the input format will be changed to full HTML when the showcase doesn't require further changes; differently, once the input format is changed to full HTML, the author of the showcase will not be anymore able to edit it (documentation format and full HTML format are not accessible to all authenticated users).

silverwing commentedImages should only be about 30-50kb in file size.
Max width should be about 300px and not include browser chrome.
chavan commentedThanks for reviewing this.
In the post the image width is set to 400px width and linked to the full-sized image. However, if it would work better to resize the images themselves to 400px I can do that.
silverwing commentedWe don't do browser resizing of the images - they should come the size that's needed!
chavan commentedThanks for the quick review & feedback.
I will recreate the images so that:
1. There is no browser chrome
2. Max width is 300px
3. File size is less than 50kb
4. I will then update the HTML in the showcase post.
silverwing commentedthat'll be great.
But remember that the numbers I gave you aren't set in stone. If it needs to be a little bigger to make it look right, that's okay.
But the images aren't a replacement for the text - they're supposed to highlight and illustrate what you wrote.
Change the status when you're done.
chavan commentedI have recreated the images so that:
1. There is no browser chrome
2. Max width is between 300px - 350px
3. File size is less than 50kb
I will update the HTML on http://drupal.org/node/905766
Thanks for the feedback. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
silverwing commentedThanks. I'll look it over again tonight, but like kiam~ said in the other thread, if you can explain why you used modules you used, do that. (The "Why Drupal?" part is important.)
chavan commentedI have updated http://drupal.org/node/905766 and outlined the refinements I made at http://drupal.org/node/905816#comment-3424086
Thanks for the good suggestions.

chavan commentedAny further refinements needed on this?

gdemetThese images look fine to me; I'm closing out this issue, as it technically is a duplicate of http://drupal.org/node/905816 , and will make further comments there.
