The current release for the gmap module used to be 6.x-1.1-rc1 but at some point it has reverted to 6.x-1.0

I have looked into it some and can't see any reason why this should be so or how I can get it back.

Does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be?

The issue also occurs on the location module with 6.x-3.0 and 6.x-3.1-rc1

The project pages show only development snapshots, and the official releases that are not alpha releases, beta releases, release candidate, and unstable releases; that is why you don't see version 6.x-1.1-rc1 in the project page.

The project releases shown in the project pages have been changed recently, to make the list behave like the list of updates handled from the update manager.
