This module is all screwed up when used in 4.3.1. Doesn't show up in Create Content menu in sidebar. WHen I try to add more than one annotation it adds a blank one and overwrites the first. Unable to administer older annotations.

I don't believe it's supposed to work with 4.3.1, as it hasn't been released since 4.2. The module would have to be updated, there is some starter information here how to do that:

I'm not too sure about the entire bug tracking system, but shouldn't this be marked something like "by design" or if no one is willing to update the module, "won't fix"?

contributed modules (and themes) only (are guaranteed to) work with a drupal release of the same version number. you cannot expect a 4.2.0 module to work with drupal 4.3.1. if there is no 4.3.1 module available, it means it hasn't been updated by its author. if you want this module to be updated, contact the author or file a feature request. see "contributions repository" in the drupal handbook [1] for details .

in any case, this is no bug, nor is it critical, nor is the title very helpful. marking WON'T FIX.

I dont get this. Whenever someone posts in these things letting developers know that the modules no longer with with the current version, we get "it's not supposed to" .. well, since sometimes they do (I use several 4.2 modules on 4.3.1) I thought it'd be nice to give a heads up and let you know that 4.3.1 killed your module. If there is somewhere else to discuss modules, let me know.

Project: Annotation » Drupal.org site moderators
Component: Miscellaneous » Broken link
Status: Postponed » Closed (fixed)

This project (module) does not exist anymore.

The project was "annotation".

That's why I choose "drupal webmasters" and "broken link" as the problem. I can't close this issue unless I choose something...
