Request for 'confirmed' user role

I want to be a confirmed user so I can join the Vancouver group
https://groups.drupal.org/vancouver and post a developer job posting for drupal 8.

You should be able to join the group without having the confirmed role.

As for being able to post anything, I am not sure what is required. You may need to contact one of the group organizers. For support about Groups.drupal.org, please visit the Groups.drupal.org issue queue.

To add to what gisle said, on groups.drupal.org, it's not anymore possible to post job posts, since they have been moved to https://jobs.drupal.org/.

Please see Become a confirmed user for information on the role and how it is granted. After you have posted some content on Drupal.org, this issue will be revisited or you will get the role automatically.
