Look here: http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com
This is a open community suggestions page. Would be nice if Drupal create one too. Many users has a own suggestions but not can create a code php. Please, entertain this proposal.
Maybe with this, peoples can share own ideas.

Bevan commentedGreat idea! I think the way this normally starts is on someones own site, then if there is general consensus that it's a great idea and others think it is appropriate, it is migrated to d.o's servers and given a d.o subdomain and gains the status it needs for full acceptance. see DROP's site http://drop.cwgordon.com/ which is going though this process.
Cheers,
Bevan/

tomaszx commentedI saw this page and have some suggestions:
1. Voting
2. specify some destination tasks
3. Verify tasks with some maintainer from Drupal.org
4. assign tasks to developers or subscribe
5. administer this tasks by the power users from drupal.org
i think that main administrators to obligation this idea.

stevebayerin commentedUbuntu runs on Drupal, it shouldn't be too difficult to have the same off site. (hmm this post has got the wrong wording, ubuntu.com runs on drupal and well I posted another one by hitting escape to stop this one and then writing the next one.)

ztyx commentedHmm, this is basically what filing a feature request is here in the Drupal issue queue. Would it be possible to add ratings to feature requests here and (maybe) have a part of Drupal.org called "brainstorm" (reachable through http://brainstorm.drupal.org redirecting to http://drupal.org/brainstorm) which is only focused on picking up those ideas.
That way no duplicate databases will need to coexist, which is a waste of time and information transferring between two sites.
