This may not be the right place to mention this, and really it is more of an annoyance than a bug or anything ... if i put it in the wrong category, please feel free to reassign ...
but I build a lot of test sites and am constantly going to drupal.org and typing in the search box the name of the module I want to download, and then selecting it from the results list. Very often, the exact name of the module does not produce a search result of the actual module, even if I filter down to modules only. But when it does, it is usually there somewhere albeit a page or two in. Only a few pop up as first on the search list.
But with the views module specifically, it never appears. If I type "Views' in the search box, select modules, I get everything related to views, but not views. I can select another views related project an scroll down and select views from the 'related project' section ... but that gets old ....
I just thought I'd mention it, it seems to me that it should return the obvious result.
Peace, love & light ;)
Julie
