I've got a couple of links that take the following format...

file://C:/SomeFolder/SomeFile.txt

These are links to local files. They are rendered exactly as entered *most* of the time but when I use the WebLinks Block module my link is rewritten to include an HTTP:// on the front of the link.
http://intranet/file%3A/%252FS%3A/SomeFolder/SomeFile.txt

How can I prevent these links from being reformatted?

I've tried changing the input format with no success.

We'll have to try this and see why it's happening. This is something that has never been requested before.
