Could you tell me where I can find the strings 'filter' or 'Refine' or 'promoted'. I'm in translating the module and would like to see it in place. Is it only if there are many web links?

nancydruI believe those are in the "weblinks_user.inc" file. This is part of the "Weblinks" tab that gets added to the user profile.

FrankT commentedThanks, I can see the string except the filter type 'promoted' or 'not promoted'. Is there something special to be done before to get it in the user interface?
FrankT commented..maybe it has to do that I didn't find how to switch on moderation of web links so far!?
nancydruI really don't use the user links part, so Robert is going to have to look at that.
rmiddle commentedModeration wasn't built into weblinks. We have added some support by having an unpublished block and if you go into the weblinks content type and default to unpublished that will give you the ability to moderate. As for who see the user tab. Make sure the users role has 'edit own weblinks' checked. Also should have 'create weblinks' checked as well.
Thanks
Robert

FrankT commentedI would like to come back to (a part of) my original question: I still don't have any idea where to find the strings promoted in the user interface? Could you tell me, please?
nancydruWell, according to the translation template, it would be on line 154 of "weblinks.user.inc".
About moderation: There is, in the "node" table, a flag called "moderate." In past versions of Drupal, they tried to include some moderation support into Core. At some point (maybe 5.0), they decided that core should no longer try to do moderation, but they left the flag there. I believe it is used by the Moder8 module. To the best of my knowledge, no other contributed modules actually use that flag.

FrankT commentedOK, I understand 'moderation' (but there still seems to be some kind of activity as there is a beta version of modr8 for 6.x, too.) I think this issue could be closed.

rmiddle commented#289892: Filtering does not work
Someone else has brought this up. should we wrap that section around an module_exist function or ripe it out all together?
Thanks
Robert

I thought you used it and wanted that left in. I don't and can't see much use in it.
rmiddle commentedI don't use that aspect of the system. That can be yanked out.
Thanks
Robert

FrankT commentedI don't use it, too (my question was for translation purposes only). In my eyes the issue can be closed.
