Hi,

I've been testing Web links on my local site - it seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! :)

But unfortunately, the URLs I enter seem to be limited to 64 characters. They're not exactly truncated, I'm just unable to enter any text beyond the 64 character mark.

Is there a workaround? I can't really ask the sites I'm linking to to shorten their URLs. :)

Known limitation. I have submitted a patch to create the URL field in the database as a text field rather than a varchar which has a fixed max length.

But, when uninstalling / reinstalling the module - even as shipped from the developer I now see - the selection box to select catagory(s) for the link disappears... currently filing a bug about that one. No workaround for that one yet. gggrrrr.... (shrug)

I have just bumped into this and I hope that the developer will quickly find a real solution. I really do not understand this, there are sooo many links that are much longer than 64 characters. I want to make a daily roundup of specific newspaper articles over the world, but this way that cannot be done.
