longer links or option to turn visit off

Hi,
I understand you are reworking Weblinks for 4.6. Would you please consider this issue. I was trying to use Weblinks to hold Commission Junction Affiliate links... something over 300 chars. I know .. that’s very long and not expected. Even if you expand the field it can only go out to 255chars.

So what I tried was placing the long url link info into the body, this works find and dandy. However the “visit” link next to the “read more” option is now empty and to the user appears to be broken. I can use Flexinode, but then I lose some of the great stuff you have built into Weblinks .. that I like very much.
