The weblink module seems to be listing categories that aren't even assigned to its node type. If I create a vocabulary named "test1" and put terms in it named "test2" and "test3" and don't check "weblink" as a node type to associate it to, visiting /weblink on my site shows the categories as if they were associated with the weblink node type. If I add other categories and don't check "weblink" as a node type, every term in those other categories still lists, even if one and only one category was assigned to the weblink node type and no others.

yeah, I had that happen. I forget what the fix is. it's not a coding fix, but something to do with settings.

go to adminster | settings | weblink

make sure the correct vocab is chosen. even if it is correct, hit "submit" as if you had changed something and that'll probably fix it.

I am going to make a general directory.module, one that will replace the weblink browsing functionality.

hello- i had this problem too- the fix is simple... you must go to taxonomy / categories- and the category that you created for weblinks- you must make sure that all of the nodes are 'required to have at least one term from this vocab'

meaning that if you only want weblinks displayed- enable this setting requirement- and only those nodes that have a term in the 'weblink' vocab will be displayed...

hope this makes sense and works for you...

I am not seeing weblink under adminster | settings.

I have Drupal 4.6.0 and weblink 4.6.0. I have already installed weblink, and assigned correct categories (vocabularies for weblink).

Any idea?

Thanks.
