I'm trying to make the selection of an row in a view trigger a conditional field, without luck. I've tried entering the title of the node and the ID in the conditional Value field, but with no success.

The key value is the nid/tid/uid. That should work with conditional fields. Please try beta3 and open this thread again if it still doesn't work.
