Roadmap for 2.0 release

The 8.x-2.0-alpha1 release of this module was a while ago. Is there much to do to before a full release of it could happen?

I'm helping to build a site that's going to rely on this module pretty heavily, so it'd be nice to know the module's stable and secure.
