In mailchimp I am using the standard GDPR fields in mailchimp and would like to to be able to tick the box from my webform. I thought it might be using the merge fields but I dont know what to put in to that box to connect it, or if that will work. I'm sure this is a thing many other forms using this component would need. Does anyone have any help for me?
I tried creating aa consent tickbox and putting the following:
Mailchimp merge fields
GDPR|consent
I also, as a workaround to record consent, tried making a text Merge tag in Mailchimp called Consent and tried to address it so:
Mailchimp merge fields
Consent|consent
neither worked...help appreciated.
