Hi there! I saw this module after a tweet was posted a few days ago. If you're not aware of it already, the latest versions of Webform 4.x now include support for HTML5 placeholders directly: #1305826: Add support for HTML5 placeholder attribute.

I'm not sure what that means for this module. Perhaps that means it's not needed for Webform 4.x? Or it could still be useful if you need to support Webform 3.x or IE6/7. Either way, I think a note on the project page describing when it's necessary might be a good idea.

Well shucks. I'd been tinkering with this module for years and using it on client projects for some time. Perhaps I should've pushed harder on getting this up sooner. Glad to hear 4.x is supporting placeholders and thanks for the heads up.

I've updated the project page to make note of 4.x and scenarios that might make Webform Hints still useful.
