Hi,
sending a PDF with the subscription mail after submitting a webform works fine, but in the pdf there is only the header and the footer, not the content itself. I also cannot edit the Content of the PDF document setting. It just shows the variables, but the field itself is not editable (I only see a blank field).

xeeya commentedA few minutes later I fould the solution myself. I installed the WYSIWYG-module and for any reason it blocked the textfield. After disabeling it all works fine. :)

StephenMurphy commentedActually, since PDF editors are all expensive and complicated to operate, I always convert PDF files to editable word format with AnyBizSoft PDF to Word Converter when I need to edit PDF files. From my long time experience of searching and testing, this tool supports encrypted files and preserves text, layouts, images and hyperlinks well.
There are also some free online conversion site such as http://www.zamzar.com but they sometimes let me wait a long time to get the converted files and it does not support encrypted files conversion. And the conversion quality is far from satisfying when PDF files with complicated layout. So I prefer desktop app.
You can have a try on them and choose you preference.
