quicksketchI would suggest you use the latest version of Webform (2.9 or the 3.0 beta 5). I can't provide support on earlier versions.

machi27 commentedthanks for answering, i am gonna update to version 2.9 asap, but before upgrading i have to ask you one thing, i am not sure about this coz i made it while ago, but in order to translate the form into differents language i think that i modified template.php as u suggested in this topic http://drupal.org/node/245424 comment #43, i am not sure if i also modified line 153 in components/select.inc suggested in #35 in order to translate "select list items".
Do you think that if I upgrade my current webrform, all translatable items will stop working??
thanks
ps. toda i have tried to download a result and i am getting a doc (not empty anymore) but with the html of the page... weird

machi27 commentedhi quicksketch,
after updating webform into v 6.x-2.9 i am still having the same result, i am not able to download any of the results of the forms... "empty file"
thanks and sorry for disturbing
ps. relating translations everything works fine

quicksketchHm, I'm not sure why the file would be blank. This doesn't occur on clean installations of Webform. There may be another module interfering with the download.
machi27 commentedwhat would you do in my case???
the only module that it works with webform that i am using is webform block
thanks

quicksketchIf I were in your situation I'd start debugging the code directly. That's probably not an option if you're asking for support so try the following one at a time:
- Try out a clean installation of Drupal with just Webform and make sure the download works there. It may be a server configuration problem that prevents Webform from working correctly.
- Confirm that your module has not been modified and replace it with a clean 2.9 version.
- Disable any Webform related modules
- Turn off any developer modules
- Switch your theme to Garland or some non-modified core theme
- Start turning off modules until it starts working again.

machi27 commentedQuicksketch,
Sorry for disturbing again, after following your details, i believe that my issue has something to do with server configuration,
could you please tell me what do i have to tell to my hosting provider so they can configure the server as is necesary???
Thanks a lot for your time

quicksketchThe most likely problem is the server running out of memory. Try increasing the max memory limit for PHP. It's unusual that the file would download though and just be entirely empty (usually you wouldn't even get a download).
