Hi there

Thanks for the webform module. Just fabulous!!! I would like to know if it is possible to add a "location" webform component (just like fieldset, textarea, etc). So in the form itself the user should be able to fill out the relevant fields in the form as well as be able to see a map and select a location. The GMAP module integrated with webform will be great!!! I am still a newbie but I managed to create a location.inc file and added it to the components folder. I added some GMAP details in the location.inc file. When I created a new field in the form, the type location was available as a choice. I was also able to view the GMAP. So Im assuming it is possible?? This functionality will be soo great if included. I am going to attempt but your help will be appreciated as Im still very new to all of this.

Yes this is possible by making a new component as you have already done, though I believe that such functionality should not be included directly in Webform due to the complexity of the task (taking into consideration different countries, zip codes, states and provinces, etc.) In Webform 3.x, any module may provide components by implementing hook_webform_component_info(). I'd suggest this become a separate project.
