Hi,
I am using HS very much and I am very happy with this module. Thanks Wim!
I would very much like HS also as a field within a webform.
I would like to be able to select a field through HS with webform.
Is this doable please?
I suggested this also in the webform issue-queue: http://drupal.org/node/162948#comment-1037992
Maybe a combined effort is needed?
Thanks in advance for considering this!
greetings,
Martijn

wim leersCould you clarify what exactly you would want to have here? I skimmed the issue and if I understand it correctly, you want to use HS with the dropbox to select terms that should be selectable through a webform?
Or is it that you'd like to use HS as one of the widgets you can add to a webform?

summit commentedHi Wim,
I would like to use HS to select values on a webform. Not categorizing a webform node.
Say I have a webform about cars and a user types in his name, and his place, I would like a dropbox to show the terms beneath (= hierarchy car-brands , type within brand).
then when they click on submit, I will get an email with the name, place and the terms in hierarchy he selected.
I think this means building a widget which can be added to a webform, like adding captcha, but I am not sure this is the right verbs for it technically.
Am I clearer now Wim?

Martijn

wim leersThis is going to be a 3.1 feature.

summit commentedHi Wim,
Thanks a lot for bringing it aboard on 3.1!
EDIT: Hi Wim, Thanks to Robert Graves: vocabularies are now on board of webform: http://drupal.org/node/162948#comment-1079569
It would be great to be able to use the HS widget instead of the regular dropdown list.

summit commentedHi Wim,
I thought more about this.
What would be great, is having the same functionality support as HS has as CCK widget for the content_taxonomy implementation.
So you could use more than one HS widget in a webform from one vocabulary.
Say the vocabulary is
- Country
---Province
-----City.
The HS widgets could be focussed:
1- One for Country
2- One for Province
3- One for City
So the lists of Country should not also keep the provinces and cities
The list for Provinces should not also keep the countries and cities
The list for Cities should not also keep the countries and cities.
Next to the possibility to set the term as top for the list (current supported by HS), the support of the taxonomy level would be great!
Greetings,
Martijn

wim leersIt'll be up to Webform to support this. Only core modules and very widely used modules with clear hierarchical properties (such as Content Taxonomy) will be supported by HS itself.

OpenSourcer commentedHi Wim
HS is really good. Thanks. I read the above. Were you able to add HS as one of the types (e.g. textfield, date, etc) in webform. This would be really helpful. Thanks
