Responses for radio button fields email blank responses. The question comes through, but without a response. Other field types come through fine, such as date and text. All responses, including radio, are stored and can be viewed on the results tab.
This only just stopped working. I will be rolling back to 5.x-1.7 to see if the problem was introduced in 5.x-1.8.

kcolwell commentedI'm seconding this report.
Radio button submitted data doesn't appear in emails but it does appear in the database.
Thanks,
Ken Colwell

kcolwell commentedReverting back to 5.x-1.7 does solve this problem.

lokisapocalypse commentedI too have observed this error. It does not appear in emails when the type is select (whether it is radio or dropdown list). It does save the data correctly in the database.
I added additional processing code to dump the contents of the variables being sent and the values are correctly passed. I have not had a chance to look in depth at the PHP behind this to determine the cause of this error.

rcesarz commentedi am having this same problem-got around it by making everything a multiple choice question but it's not satisfactory. will roll back to earlier version.

quicksketchThanks, I've committed the attached patch to 1.x and 2.x branches which I believe corrects the problem. The fix will be rolled in with the 1.9 release, or you can use this patch until it is released or use the 1.x dev version. Please reopen if the problem still exists.
