Individual option descriptions

I'm trying to add descriptions to each individual option in a check-box list, so the final format looks like this "Check-box | Option | Description". But it seems the only way to do this is to create a entire list for each item then add markup between each list.

So I was wondering if there is anyone out there that can recommend any techniques or modules that could help me achieve this easier, and is it possible this will become a feature in future versions of webforms.
