This module is excellent, however it would be great to have group folders that are accessible to all group members.
In essence, when a group is created, automatically add a folder in the users "role folder", and only allow members in that group to access it.
Another nice thing would be to give group members the ability to create directories in that folder.
I'm sure there are many other ways that this module could be used with organic groups, any other thoughts?

geoff_eagles commentedHi,
I've written (using webFM as my start point) a document manager that implements file and directory permissions based on user, role and group (using organic groups). The latest beta version should have been released last Friday but I'm still sniffing out bugs. But if you go to the dbfm module page and click View All Releases and grab the latest one you may well find it does what you want? There'll be another release early in the new year allowing different file versions to be stored and search goes in the following month.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedI checked out your module, I must admit the interface is great! Unfortunately I wasn't able to upload a file using it within node/add or the general interface. I also didn't see how it limits users by group membership. However this module looks very promising, and if you need feedback on bugs, I'm willing to test it out for you on my system, which is being used as a course management system similar to drupalEd's setup (5.5, og4). I also got several javascript errors with trying to close windows in Firefox or Safari on a Mac. Once I get some time to play with it, I will submit some proper issues...
