This is a truly fabulous module. I love it.
I've spent the past couple hours trying to hack it to allow multiple voting criteria, like:
. Colour: [vote stars]
. Skill: [vote stars]
. Reliability: [vote stars]
...or whatever. Does the author have any plans to add that sort of functionality?
Thanks much! Great job so far!

benshell commentedThanks for the positive feedback! Right now it's a barebones voting system, and I definitely have more plans for it (and maybe nmoderation, node_vote, and my voting module will even be combined someday). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you mean just changing the text from the default "Rate it:" to "Skill:" or "Reliability:", etc. I should set that up as a variable to be passed from the module to Flash, but now it requires editing the Flash file. I'd also like to redo the stars themselves in Flash so that different colors can be passed to Flash without:
1) Editing the Photoshop stars file
2) Editing the Flash FLA file
3) Recompiling as a SWF file.
I've already had to do this for two websites, neither of which use a white background. It's not too difficult, but you'd have to have Photoshop and Flash (MX or better).
I'll try to get these changes made by the end of the week.

benshell commentedI updated the CVS with several changes on Saturday. I was a little confused by your feature request, so please re-open this issue if there are things I didn't add. What I did was change the raster-based voting stars to vector stars within Flash. You can now change most colors and text strings from within Drupal using the Voting settings page.
