I used the sample stand alone code and am unable to display the graph in any region except the 'footer'. Is there a way to display the graph in the content region, or the body of a page?

You should be able to display it in any region of your site, it will depend on how you are embedding it, I'm not sure if your problem is that you can't display a specific block in an specific region or that the when you do it it just display the table but not the graph.

In any case it seems to be an issue with your theme.

I get the same thing - just trying to use it in Views as per the instructions.
