Yeah, 7.x is full of bugs and doesn't work. Since I haven't finished getting 7.x it working (only about 25% done) I am going to close this, but I can guarantee that your problem has to do with the fact that you don't have php-curl installed.

I'm just wondering if you think that the 7.x version is advanced enough now to use it in a production site ?
Or is it better to stay with D6 ?
