Oh sorry. The german text means "* table designs have an extra sort-function". that's my example. :-)

I think so. You mean to add that message under the heading of the sort section in the views admin screen.

I'll have to have think about this one when I have more time but it might not be plausible.
I'm not sure what (if any) control views plugins have over that part of the UI so I'll have to look into it.

Also, are there not enough messages in the style section, where you set up which columns are sortable etc.?
Because that is where people are setting up the sort and that is where the regular views table style puts its message.
If you are using a tablesorter view I would expect you would know about it's sort functionality.

I know about the sort functionality. But I know it, sine I've played around with it. I don't know what the most users are really missing. Without statistics you can only look inside the glass ball.
