I am trying to create a timeline like experience and need to use the "breakout field" feature of the thumbnail hover as a label on the slider.
is it possible to enable both the thumbnail hover breakout field as well as the slider?

how would I go about creating this functionality?

Unfortunately I am not working on the 6.x series anymore, so if you need this functionality you will have to do it yourself, or find a freelancer to do it. I would probably somehow add the breakout field as hidden fields and add some JS/CSS code to handle the hover effect.
