Hey folks,

"+1" doesn't propel this issue forward.

I won't be working on this in my free time, and even if someone offered to pay me for it I don't have any time to do it "professionally".

A patch will propel this issue forward (or, indirectly, a bounty to motivate another developer to provide a patch).

I don't have time either but this is interesting, I'm going to watch this and hopefully have a couple hours to work on a patch in the next few weeks.

Leveraging this functionality with touch gestures would allow for some amazing stuff on mobile. Any further progress on a patch?

Nothing here, that said: Flex Slider does seem to have touch support built in (along with being responsive), just FYI.

I've thought about that, too.

I can't see how it would work with a physics-based silder because you could swipe faster than the ajax items could load off-screen, but it would be good with slow scrolling on a regular slider.
