First of all, thanks for releasing this great module.
I have images and videos. Both use the same node reference field to reference the same type of 'gallery'.
In a view, I limit the view to 'Images' using a node type filter.
In the node reference filter, I check:
Limit list to result set and Further limit list to active filters
I expect the exposed gallery filter to not show galleries such as 'Washington Videos'.
But it does. I've tried this on both ajax and non ajax views. Please let me know if more info is needed.
Thanks.

infojunkieFiltering node references is working correctly on my test installation. There is, however, a possibility that the logic for finding the right field to be filtered, fails. This can especially occur if there are similarly-named fields from different tables or relationships, or exposed filters that have no equivalent as displayable fields.
If you want to debug this yourself, you can examine variable
$query_fieldsafter line 69 of fileviews_filters_selective.module, and compare its contents to the$filterobject being restricted. I'll be glad to help of course. If you don't want to debug this yourself, you can refer me to your test installation that exhibits the problem and we'll take it from there.

Flying Drupalist commentedI didn't do any actual debugging, but coincidentally I was fooling around with the view and discovered that row style: node doesn't work as my first post, but row style: fields does work.
I'm happy enough with this, as I can convert my node views to fields views.
Thank you for the great module once again.

infojunkieThat makes sense, since the style: node does not pull any fields that can be used for the filtering. I'll update the text on the module page and mark this issue as fixed. Thanks!
