It would be fine when the gantt chart could show the current date near the left side, by default
Means the past should be scrolled invisible to the left.

Additional:
It would be fine to get a second time bar at the bottom ( or time bars every half browser page) to be able to find a day if the gantt chart is as big that it needs more space than one page
