Huh, this really cost me some time... looks like:
* 7.x-2.x is not functional, it even has no .views.inc file - and is published on the module page
* 7.x-1.x seems more complete and at least does something (although i did not test it further yet) - and is not published on the module page
It would be nice to the world to publish the state of those branches.

It looks like 2.x just misses the commit of the .views.inc file but that's a significant part of the module and nontrivial to reconstruct.

On 7. June i PMed phayes who did the last commit, and now the other maintainers.
