Hello Nathen,
I'm getting stuck applying fairly simple css to my view items. Simple things like adding a border are breaking the layout by expanding the item beyond the width of the grid.
Please would you mind sharing your configuration and css for your football shirt demo, as this is exactly the same style that I am wanting to achieve. A screencast would be fantastic if you have time.

If you have followed the instructions of the video tutorial at http://vimeo.com/28416526 and have already the configuration as expected then you can override the css that you need for customizing yor style.
For example: Adding a right border
The "list class" name id for this example: mylistclass
Grid system: grid-3 width
Overriding the css for adding a border-right. Removing the margin and applying padding instead. This allow you to place the border in the middle of both lis.
Hope it could help you.
