Just FYI
I'm using Views Bootstrap for a simple linked image carousel (or just image rotation, doesn't matter). No title, no description, 4 images total.
If I'm using jQuery 1.7, carousel cycles 1 to 4 fine for the first time, then goes nuts:
— shows images in this order 1--2-1--3--2--4 or something like that, double dash corresponds to a normal interval, single is for instant swap
— sometime in the process (no pattern, happens randomly after the first full cycle) shows 2 items at the same time (both are of "active" class)
Switching to jQuery 1.8 solves the problem (and breaks Views UI and some other modules).
Went with 1.8, had to upgrade jquery_update (recent version allows separate jquery version for admin pages).
Looks like jQuery 1.8 is required?

bverc commented+1 For carousel not working correctly in 1.7. It works for the first cycle of images, but on second pass it seems to skip every second image.
I'm using 1.10 currently, but I suspect this has other consequences I have yet to discover.

bverc commentedUpon investigation, according to #2245299: minimum jQuery version is 1.9.0 for Bootstrap 3.1.1, JQuery 1.9+ is required for Bootstrap 3.1.1 and above.
So that is likely the problem. Someone might like to update the documentation to show that.
