Hi there, i am trying to output a list of teasers (or any fields for that matter) as plain text in a block or page display. ie stripped of all images/links/style tags. i am currently attempting to do this with preg_replace() in my page.tpl.php but its a bit hazardous, and am hoping there is some way to do it in the views i am creating.

The easiest thing to do would be to theme the field and in you theme function run it through strip_tags.
