Right now you can only use this module to set permissions to view unpublished content per 'node' type.
It would be great if we could also do this for Media entities, so we would have permissions like:
Media: Image: View any unpublished entities
Media: Video: View any unpublished entities
etc.

Maybe create a submodule for this functionality ?

Hello. I believe the request made here might be addressing a very specific use case. I'm wondering if this should be developed within this module or perhaps considered for the Media module of Drupal core instead. It might be worth discussing whether the functionality should be part of the core's broader capabilities or remain in a more specialized module like this.
