Hi, would it be possible to use that module so that the author of a comment can see it even when it is not published (approved), and even edit it too?

No, this module doesn't affect comments in that way.

Could this be made a feature, it would be really useful to give to (in my case) moderators of a forum, where right now they will be able to see and act on unpublished nodes, but not comments, and I really don't want to give them full "administer comments/content" permissions just to allow them to see and act on unpublished comments. This is especially important, since there aren't any other modules that I can find which provide this level of control for comments, and even if there were, it just doesn't make sense to have two modules to accomplish very small but important tasks.
