Hello
I would like to use http://drupal.org/project/jwplayermodule for displaying videos, because of it's support for plugins, skins & longtail ads.
I installed it, but it is not being shown at settings -> video -> player.
How can I use it to display videos?

prabhakarsun commentedI finally copied video-play-flv.tpl.php, and replaced;
with
where $config is jwplayer module configuration.
But I think there should be a better way. I would love to see some documentation on adding custom players to be available at settings -> video -> players.
Also, instead of fixed resolutions list, it would be great if we can set custom resolutions, ex. 1000 x 200. But that may be a separate issue.

hypertext200Currently in video module we are supporting only for SWFTools module and FlowPlayer, if you know how to use JW Player then you can add it to the video-play-flv.tpl.php, that is the only way you can add a player support. If you could successfully add the player provide us a patch, then we can add it to the module it self.

Meller commentedI also fixed it manually.
I use JW Player Module 6.x-1.1.
replaced :
print $themed_output
with :
$config='player';
$flashVars=array( 'file' => $video->files->flv->url );
print theme('jwplayermodule_render_player', $config, $flashVars);
in video-play-flv.tpl.php.
works like magic.
would be nice to have it built in the video module.
