S3 Query string authentication (prevent hotlinking)

Hi,

The feature to add a custom URL for video's (so that it's not pointing to the filesystem/ other source directly) has been suggested).
However something else i'm looking for is the feature described here:

Integration would be fairly simple, with only 2 fields needed:

[ ] enable S3 query authentication url
[ input field for lifetime in seconds]

StorageAPI supports this feature, and i would like to see it as an option for S3.
Shall i try an attempt to integrate this with the s3 part of the module?

I think a more generalized field to change the video url could still be layered on top later..
