Hello,
I'm having a problem, after a while i found working settings to convert to mp4 through commandline.
ffmpeg -y -i '/sites/default/files/videos/3/original/rango-tlr1_h480p.mov' -acodec libfaac -ar 44100 -ab 96k -coder ac -me full -me_range 16 -subq 5 -sc_threshold 40 -vcodec libx264 -s 1280x544" -b 1600k -cmp +chroma -partitions +parti4x4+partp8x8+partb8x8 -i_qfactor 0.71 -keyint_min 25 -b_strategy 1 -g 250 -r 20 '/sites/default/files/videos/3/converted/rango-tlr1_h480p.mp4'
However, in watchdog it seems to be ignoring my advanced ffmpeg settings (using ffmpeg not the wrapper).
i get about 6 of these messages:
Message Executing command: /var/www/domain.com/web/dev/ffmpeg -i 'sites/default/files/videos/1/rango-tlr1_h480p.mov' 2>&1
Severity debug
On the other hand the folders 'original' and 'converted' are created within the path i specified in settings (videos/[uid] ).
But no output file is generated in the target directory, and conversion fails.
and i get a failed conversion message on the frontend

iLLin commentedIf you are upgrading, make sure that your tokens are not % but are !. I am using the built in t() function support and we need to use the exclamation point as the replacement. Like so:
-y -i !videofile -f flv -ar 22050 -ab !audiobitrate -s !size -b !videobitrate -qscale 1 !convertfile
The module will add in ffmpeg on the front, and if you are converting to MP4, make sure you put "mp4" as your output extension.

Milan0 commentedActually...removing ffmpeg for the statement did the job!
I was getting another error down the line.
SQL error involving the video_renderer table..which is removed before i believe?
Also another question before this is closed: i seem to be missing the option to auto generate URL's for amazon, so its not pointing directly to the file on S3.
You can set any time for the URL being valid.
BD Video has this option, but i'm quite sure i've seen it in the Video module aswel!
..or maybe i'm wrong and it could be a feature request...:)
Thanks for the fast response!

iLLin commentedYea I think we need another widget that allows you to paste a video url into a text field. Its on the list and it won't be limited to S3.
