I have created a patch to include the JavaScript for CORS upload and integrate the amazons3_cors widget attributes to a video upload field if the module is installed.

Can this be used with s3fs cors module?

Thanks for this patch, its working well for a Video upload field to Amazon S3.

However I'm getting some issue with video thumbnails which may be related to image style delivery. I can see the generated thumbnails in file_managed table with public:// prefixes (I have the thumbnails being stored in Drupal public files rather than S3) and they are associated with the upload but no thumbnail is rendered for the Video Thumbnail formatter in a given Views display.

What step is this patch bypassing in thumbnail linking to File ID?

Update: In the database, this a symptom of the {video_field}_thumbnail column (file_managed.fid) in the field_data_field_{video_field} table being left set to NULL despite a selection.
