I'd like to use this module in conjunction with Akamai. Has anyone successfully integrated Akamai with the video module. The only cloud based system I can find is Amazon S3? Any help would be appreciated.

You can try Storage API with ftp container. A few weeks ago, I have tested the combination of Video module/Storage API - ftp(not Akamai). With this patch it worked for me.
